FWC’s Boating and Waterways Section offers
workshops on grant policies and guidelines

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission
(FWC) has scheduled three public workshops throughout the state to
discuss proposed changes to a rule concerning the policies and
guidelines for grant programs within the Boating and Waterways Section,
including the Florida Boating Improvement Program, the Boating
Infrastructure Grant Program, the Derelict Vessel Removal Grants program
and the Boating Safety and Education program.
The first workshop will be on Tuesday, Dec. 11, from 1
to 3 p.m. at 8353 Northlake Blvd. in West Palm Beach. The next workshop
will be on Wednesday, Dec. 12, from 10 a.m. to noon at 3900 Drane Field
Road, Lakeland. On Thursday, Dec. 13, from 1 to 3 p.m., another workshop
will be held in Tallahassee at the FWC’s headquarters in the Bryant
Building, 620 S. Meridian St., Room G52.
