Create a "Yard List"
Create a "yard list" of critters that you and your child observe in your yard. This year-round activity hones seasonal observation skills, teaches identification of common Florida animals and serves as a gauge of the success of your efforts to landscape for wildlife.
If you have established a bird-feeding station, for example, keep a pair
of binoculars handy, along with the
