HOW TO GET A BOATER EDUCATION IDENTIFICATION CARD


1. Take a course approved by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the National Association of StateFlorida Boating Safety Course On-Line Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA).

2. Submit a postcard with your name, date of birth, return address, phone number and proof of completion of the course:

3. Or you can take the "How to Boat Smart" correspondence course and follow the directions provided on the test.

4. Visitors from out of state who do not have a card issued by their home state can take a Temporary Certificate test. Click here to see a list of participating vendors.
